Member Spotlight: Emma Lancia

Each month we shine a spotlight on a member of the Free Spirits community.

This month we’re featuring Emma Lancia, who’s helping teams move beyond “we’ve got Copilot, now what?” by turning AI into something practical, embedded and genuinely game-changing in how people work.

Emma is an Occupational Psychologist and Founder of Big Leap Change. She cares about driving measurable impact through AI adoption and loves bringing playfulness into learning, mixed with relevant practice.

You’ve stepped into a lift and someone asks what you do. You’ve got five floors before the doors open, what do you say?

How would you like your team to all have working Copilot agents that support them in their jobs?

I run workshops to define and build these agents, both simplifying the heavy lifting parts of people’s jobs and amplifying the quality of their outputs.

What challenge do your clients most often bring to you, and how do you help sort it out?

When people say “I’ve given everyone Copilot licences, but people are just using Copilot ad hoc rather than in an integrated way with their roles.”

I find the solution is building Copilot confidence and competence through function specific agent build along workshops.

What are you currently building, experimenting with, or hoping to do more of this year?

I’ve created an e-learn on the importance of a Growth mindset in helping people adapt, and I hope to release more e-learns on the behavioural side of AI empowerment.
