Winning the work isn’t always about being the best.
Find out how to structure your proposals to win more contracts at a premium price point.
You can be brilliant at what you do, have years of experience and know exactly how to deliver a great programme. But if your proposal doesn’t make the value of that work obvious, you can still lose out to someone else.
The consultants winning more programmes at a premium price point aren’t necessarily better than you. What they’ve mastered is what happens before delivery even begins: how they position their offer, articulate its value and make themselves feel like the obvious choice.
In this session, Chris Taylor will draw on 18 years of experience supporting consultants to win work and structure proposals that get noticed, understood and approved.
This isn’t about filling your proposals with more detail or making them look prettier. It’s about making a few deliberate changes to the way you frame the work, so clients understand why they need it, why it matters now and why you’re worth the investment.
What to expect
We’ll look at how to structure and position your proposals so they:
- Create more urgency: Help the client understand why this is something they need to act on now, rather than leave sitting on the nice-to-have pile.
- Get faster approval: Make it easier for your contact and their executive sponsor to quickly understand what you’re proposing and why it matters.
- Reduce pushback on price: Shift the conversation away from what the programme costs and towards the relative value of the outcomes it can create.
- Lead to more follow-on work: Position your projects around clear outcomes, building greater confidence in working with you again on future programmes.
You’ll leave with a clearer structure for your proposals and practical tweaks you can use the next time you’re pitching for a piece of work.
