A lot of freelancers put off creating a LinkedIn company page. It can feel a bit intimidating, a bit “not ready yet”, or like something you only do once you have a shiny website and a big following.
But here’s the thing.
Waiting can actually slow you down when you are trying to look credible, get found, and build momentum.
In this practical, hands-on workshop, I’ll show you why your company page matters much earlier than you might think, and how to treat it as a proper home for your business even before you have a website. This is not a sit-and-listen session. We will be building, tweaking, and improving in real time.
I’ll take you step by step through creating or tidying your LinkedIn company page, covering the basics of setup, what to include when you do not yet have a website, and how to make a brand new page look professional even if you have no followers or testimonials yet. If you already have a company page, brilliant, you are not left out, we will also look at how to optimise what you have so it works harder for you.
I’ll also show you exactly how to link your company page to your personal profile and how to use your own posts to drive people there. Yes, your personal posts can often get around 10 times more views than your company page posts, but you still need to be posting on your company page as well.
The goal is simple. By the end of the session, everyone will have a live, usable company page that is ready for you to take into growth, analytics, and lead generation in Judy Parsons Skills Lab at Free Spirits LIVE! on 4 March.
